You don't know what you got 'till its gone

I'm currently reading this:

It's quite interesting and witty, and I've already learnt so much from it. I'm a bit slow at reading though, but will have to get used to it as I'll need to do a lot more reading for my course.

Uni is going ok so far. It's saddening but there's a girl a year younger than me I know from High School who I said Hi to on the first day after recognising her. After a few days of observations, it seems that her, another hijabi and two guys (asian) have formed a group- ((she already knew these guys presumably from college)). I don't know about you but I try to avoid all these "mixed" groups. I'm not trying to be judgemental, or say in any way I'm more Islamic etc... but I think it's wrong. I know loads of girls, Hijabi's who have male friends, especially Asians, but I'm just not comfortable with it. It mainly happens in college and then they end up in the same Uni etc...

And it's a shame because since there's so many guys on the course, I wanted to get to know these two hijabis properly.... but I can't. They're never by themselves. oh well. On the upside, there's a nice Chinese girl from my tutor group who I've been hanging around with. She's cool :)

I miss the Uni I've been at last year :( and all the people. They seemed much friendlier and apporachable. And all the yummy foody takeaway/restaurants including one that serves this :

I'm sure I'll soon settle in, InshaAllah :)
